COURT ETIQUETTE

  1. Be courteous of other’s experience in your arrival: allow for the time-buzzer to sound before entering your court via the back curtain.

  2. Please be prepared for a swift and timely court departure at the end of your session so that others may enjoy their full time.

  3. Pack in pack out. Please remember to dispose of any unwanted tennis balls and related supplies.

  4. Be mindful of your volume. Celebrate success and even occasionally vent that anger!  All with consideration for the DHAC community.

  5. No abuse of equipment. Even if you think you want to smash it, you don’t!

  6. Be kind…and not just to others! Tennis can be a frustrating sport, take a moment to check your self-criticism and negative self-talk at the door.

  7. We are all students! Please be patient with coaches and their students as our shots don’t always land on the intended court.

  8. Be aware of your surroundings. Tennis balls lying in your playing area are an unnecessary hazard!

  9. Provide your opponent the benefit of the doubt. If you are not sure whether their shot was in or out, concede them the point.

  10. Bring your joy and creativity. Tennis is a game of self-expression and mastery; you never know who you could be inspiring!

  11. Only DHAC Coaches are allowed to conduct private lessons inside the facility.

Thank you for your patronage!
