COURT ETIQUETTE
-
Be courteous of other’s experience in your arrival: allow for the time-buzzer to sound before entering your court via the back curtain.
-
Please be prepared for a swift and timely court departure at the end of your session so that others may enjoy their full time.
-
Pack in pack out. Please remember to dispose of any unwanted tennis balls and related supplies.
-
Be mindful of your volume. Celebrate success and even occasionally vent that anger! All with consideration for the DHAC community.
-
No abuse of equipment. Even if you think you want to smash it, you don’t!
-
Be kind…and not just to others! Tennis can be a frustrating sport, take a moment to check your self-criticism and negative self-talk at the door.
-
We are all students! Please be patient with coaches and their students as our shots don’t always land on the intended court.
-
Be aware of your surroundings. Tennis balls lying in your playing area are an unnecessary hazard!
-
Provide your opponent the benefit of the doubt. If you are not sure whether their shot was in or out, concede them the point.
-
Bring your joy and creativity. Tennis is a game of self-expression and mastery; you never know who you could be inspiring!
-
Only DHAC Coaches are allowed to conduct private lessons inside the facility.
Thank you for your patronage!
